- Two prisoners became pregnant at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility, New Jersey's
only all-female prison.
- Were they getting frisky with guards or other staff members? No.
- Were they sneaking out or men sneaking in? No.
- Artificial inseminations? No.
- Immaculate conceptions? No.
It turns out they had "consensual sexual relationships with another incarcerated person," said Dan Sperrazza, external affairs executive director for the Department of Corrections. Notice how carefully he worded his gender-neutral comment. They got pregnant by "another incarcerated person" -- in a women's prison. You don't say. I suppose we'll have to retake Biology class.
- Care to guess how this happened? Last year (2021), a lawsuit filed by the ACLU
settled by allowing convicted criminals to be incarcerated in prisons that match
their gender identity instead of their biological gender (DNA). Now, there's
a good idea. As a result,
- there are more than 20 trans inmates at Mahan prison
- one of the transgendered inmates, "Demi", has made two women pregnant. Surprise! Talk about letting the foxes in the hen house. The only ones who didn't see this coming are the ACLU lawyers and those who advocate for "trans rights."
- some of the biological women, in a women's prison, have alleged they are
being sexually harassed by the transgendered inmates -- and I point out, those
being harassed live in cages and have nowhere to run. Too bad, right? It seems
compassion only swings one way.
Daily Mail reports it got so bad, "two Edna Mahan prisoners filed a lawsuit seeking for the gender identity policy to be revoked." It seems some women at the prison aren't very excited about tolerance, diversity and inclusion. I'm sure the trans rights crowd see them as transphobes and bigots. I don't know the status of their lawsuit, but for now, there's nothing they can do about the men in their prison because trans' rights now trumps women's rights. Ain't liberalism grand?
It doesn't matter if these men are suffering from Gender Dissociative Identity Disorder or just faking it -- you know, like to get into a women's prison. No, all that matters is that they said the word "identify." Where is the concern for the women who now have to put up with this? I see their plight as the latest iteration of the Woke War On Women. On the other hand, there are at least two women who apparently like this arrangement.
- As for Demitrius Minor, aka "Demi", he's serving a 30-year sentence after
being convicted of killing his foster father. His punishment? To be housed
with an endless supply of whole-lotta-loved-starved females. I suppose we'll
have to start handing out birth control to female prisoners.
- It gets better. One of the knocked up inmates is also a murderer. Great.
We're now breeding murderers in prison -- another good idea. It used to be prison
guards were concerned with people smuggling knives in cakes. Now, they're
smuggling in -- well, you know.
- We're seeing the reality of trans rights being played out in
women's athletics.
Now, it's creeping into other areas that used to be gender safe spaces for women,
which, one by one, are becoming extinct.
- Not to be transphobic or anything, but those of you with teenaged loved ones
might want to think twice before inviting trans classmates and neighbors for sleepovers
-- just sayin'. On the other hand, I'm not very progressive. So, if you're feeling
lucky and want to roll the dice, go for it. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
Just ask the warden at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility. I'm sure you'll get an earful.
- Is allowing transgendered females (with penises) to be housed in women's prisons
a good idea? You decide.
In Conclusion
It really does stagger my imagination that we're allowing men into what use to be women's gender safe spaces but if you women out there are ok with men in your sports competitions, locker rooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms, showers, and even in prison, fine by me. Go for it. As for me, call me any name you want, but I'll wait until the transgendered man exits the locker room at the tennis club before taking my shower.
Women have enough to deal with while in prison. We should keep men out of their living environment -- but no.
