Accepting transgenderism or not boils down to one of two premises:
We are female or male because of our biology (DNA), regardless of our identities.
We are female or male because of our identities, regardless of our biology (DNA).
The point of writing these articles is to examine the societal impacts
of accepting transgenderism. E.g., if we find ourselves needing medical treatment,
we will not be treated by our identities but by our DNA. Why? To do otherwise
would be medical malpractice.
The most puzzling aspect of transgenderism is the acceptance that all Dissociative
Identity Disorders fall under psychological scrutiny -- except gender. I've yet
to understand this nor have I heard an explanation for such a position.
