If you watch too much news or spend too much time on social media, you might think:
Apparently, not.
The optimist in me says: Of course, we can -- if we so choose. The pictures

Gonzaga, who had been undefeated, lost to Baylor who had never won a national
championship.
Whether in victory or defeat, black and white players showed their bonds
by celebrating with or consoling each other. Why? Because they are on
the same team. There's the secret.
We should all learn to play basketball. By that I mean join
with others, keep our eyes on the prize and win or lose, in good times
and in bad, allow our differences to take second place to that which we share
in common.
