I saw this prose on a Facebook post and thought I'd share my interpretation. I don't know if the following paragraph is true but the point is well taken.
If you collect 100 black ants and 100 red ants and put them in a jar, nothing much will happen -- but -- if you shake the jar, the ants will attack each other -- red believing black is to blame and vice versa for the sudden chaos.
The same is often true in society.
Often, those who we believe are against us really aren't.
Likewise, those who claim to be for us.
Perhaps we should pay less attention to that which makes us different
and more on what we have in common.
