Equals?

• Who'd-a thunk it? A prominent Democrat and Republican, Schumer and Trump, agreeing on illegal immigration? Really?
  
  
• Here's what I find very interesting: when Obama was president, Democrats sang what would become Trump's song on immigration. One could legitimately argue that Trump took his position from the Democrats, and that should give Democrats something to crow about -- bipartisanship, reaching across the aisle, leading on illegal immigration, etc. -- but no. Now that Trump is president, suddenly, Democrats abandon their previous position and pull a 180. Why? Because they would rather oppose any and everything Trump, than continue to govern by principle.
