• If anyone has any doubt about our President wanting to be a dictator, here you go. He said he would "take Executive Actions where Congress won't." He also said he would "rally folks around the country on this mission." Listen for yourself in this 20-second video from CNN.
  
  
• So, was Obama attempting to end democracy and become a dictator, or was he doing what every President has done to help push forward his agenda? You decide.
  
  

  We've been down this road of our President being feared and accused of becoming a dictator before. Does this cartoon point out a valid concern or does it seem a bit silly if not absurd? Take your pick. The predictable scenario is that when our guy is in the White House, EOs are fine because the President is implementing the will of the people when Congress won't. The flip side is that when the other guy is in the White House, the sky is falling. EOs are his attempt to end democracy and become a dictator. Of such is human nature.

 

• Trump signed an EO (right) discouraging males from participating in women's athetics by "rescind[ing] all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities." Promise made, promise kept. These women and girls seem happy enough that Trump is President.
  
  
• I'll ask the same question about Trump that I did for Obama: Is Trump attempting to end democracy and become a dictator, or is he doing what every President has done to help push forward his agenda? You decide.

  I am truly saddened by the hysteria I've witnessed after both of Trump's elections. This picture was taken during his first inauguration. We have the benefit of hindsight. We survived four years of Trump in 2020, four years of Biden in 2024, and we'll survive four more years of Trump in 2028. For what my word is worth, I guarantee it.

 

These girls are happy to see Trump help keep boys out of their sports competitions, showers and changing rooms. This would not have happened had Harris won the election. It would be interesting to find out how these girls vote a decade from now, but we'll never know. I would remind them: Who's your Daddy?

I walked into a jewelry store on the boardwalk in Ocean City, MD during SpringFest, 2017, and the owner reached over the counter and attacked me. I thought her head was going to explode. I can't imagine why. Does she greet all her visitors this way? It must be tough to stay in business if you kill off your customers. Actually, we shop there all the time. Patty is terrific and we always have a good time. Do I care that she's a leftie? No.

 

D.C. homeless Trump protestor and Maryland supporter had an unplanned meeting shortly after the election of 2016 outside Trump Hotel in Washington, D.C. They discussed their political differences, which did not stop them from finding common ground and making friends.
