Let's stick cameras and microphones in these faces and ask what they think about AOC's comment that they didn't earn their money but took it -- but no one ever does. I wonder why that is. If AOC dared make those comments to their faces, I guarantee she'd get a well-deserved earful.
- What is it with some people that believe being wealthy is by definition evil?
What's wrong with:
- coming from humble beginnings?
- working hard and becoming the best at what you do?
- making a fortune and in the process creating thousands of jobs*, enjoying
the fruits of your labor and passing on your good fortune by supporting the arts,
charitable organizations and your offspring?
* I wonder if AOC ever stops to consider those hundreds if not thousands of names that scroll by at the end of a blockbuster movie. I doubt it. Each of those names represents a job, which I like to call: wealth creation and redistribution done the right way -- and no -- these people are NOT being paid "slave wages". In fact, many of them are union jobs and pay very well.
- Yes, there are people in the world being exploited financially (those in China
and India come to mind) but to lump all billionaires as evil is unfair, unjust
and wrong. Are there evil billionaires? No doubt -- just like there are evil
politicians who use class warfare and demonization in an attempt to control
where other people's money should go.
- Here's a synopsis of what AOC honestly believes. The rich get rich
- by "[sitting] on a couch while thousands of people [are] paid modern-day slave wages"
- by "[making] that money off the backs of undocumented people ... black and brown people ... single mothers"
- while "all of these people who are literally dying because they can't afford to live."
"And so no one ever makes a billion dollars. You take a billion dollars."

- AOC knows better than Jay-Z how much he should be allowed to earn
and how his money should be distributed? Really? Me thinks not.
- J.K. Rowling didn't earn her money. She didn't spend years perfecting her
stories and did God knows what to get them published. No, she stole her money
from poor people who are dying because of her. I hope it's obvious to anyone
reading this how bankrupt AOC's position is -- and yet she has thousands of
followers who hang on her every word, applaud her commentaries and nod in complete
agreement. Pathetic.
- If AOC wants to see real examples of "people who are literally dying
because they can't afford to live", she should visit any socialist country.
She can start with Venezuela and end her tour in Cuba.
- Her commentary:
- at best shows a complete lack of understanding exactly what it is people who make of lot of money actually go through to be successful and how many people benefit from their efforts.
- at worst intentionally incites animosity, jealosy and hatred toward those
who actually produce something in this world and the jobs they create which
benefits everyone. She would do well to talk with Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z and J.K.
Rowling.
- The left sees economics as a finite pie only they can equitably divide.
The right says: let's make more pies (ala Harry Potter or Abbey Road).
- The left demands equality of outcomes. The right demands equality of opportunity.
- The right wants freedom. The left wants control -- of everything -- including how much money you may earn and how it should be spent.
