Countdown to Doomsday

October, 2030

or not

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared in October 2018 citing an IPCC report: "We basically have 12 years left to address climate change or else future generations will experience cataclysmic consequences ... We need wartime mobilization around climate change ... I don't see any larger threat to our existence than climate change and it's going to take a really full economic mobilization in order for us to address it."

I encourage you to listen to AOC for yourself in this two-minute video.

Notice where the discussion of cataclysmic climate change always progresses: "really full economic mobilization". Translation? They demand more and more -- of your money. The multi-trillion dollar question is: to do what exactly and what guarantee or proof do we have that her proposal will do anything to adjust the climate?

I have been hearing this doom and gloom since the 1970s. You wouldn't believe all the catastrophe that was supposed to happen by the year 2000. Here are a few examples:
Shame on those who are creating panic about how the planet will be uninhabitable in 12 years. As Y2K approached, I realized I'd been had, and it deeply concerns me that the same lies are being told today to the next generation.

Y2K came and went over two decades ago and none of their dire predictions came to pass. Think about it. If all their doomsaying was only half right, we would be dealing with catastrophe today.

Cataclysmic climate change is not science, but a political movement attempting to present itself as science. Just like Y2K, 2030 will come and go without global environmental catastrophe caused by warming -- I guarantee it. What will the Global Warmers do? What they always do -- conveniently forget their past soothsaying, recycle the same warnings and reschedule Doomsday.
